AGAC was selected in July by the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) as the organisation to design and deliver training on the human rights of older persons. 

The training is a follow-up programme subsequent to the 20th Informal ASEM Seminar on Human Rights: the Human Rights of Older Persons, hosted jointly by AGAC and ASEF in February 2021. The training is delivered online from October 13 to November 12 on the topic of “Innovative Ways to Protect and Improve the Human Rights of Older People in the Era of Digital Transformation”. 

The training is designed by Prof. Yeong-Ran Park, a member of the AGAC Expert Group and is truly global in that the trainers are from Europe, Australia and Asia, and a total of 32 persons from 18 ASEM partner countries participate in the training.
